I’m still getting used to navigating around GitHub. But I’m definitely starting to see why this site is so popular. Having a repository for code (and other files) so we keep better track of the things that we are working on.
For those of you that are just getting started, use this video to get started with Git. It’s very basic, but will get anyone started on using the Git programs and the main commands used to upload items to a repository.
I hope as I’m riding this rollercoaster of cloud and coding, I will start to figure out what all the other smart people out there have already figured out about using these tools to get their DevOps chops down pat.
For those of you interested, my GitHub repository is here.
